Senior Embedded Software Engineer

As a FuSa software engineer, you will be an integral part of development teams working on products that involve embedded software components. Your key responsibilities will include providing functional safety expertise within each team by defining safety requirements, verifying safety architecture, contributing to risk analysis, performing safety analysis, conducting formal reviews of safety documents, and managing changes throughout the product life-cycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing, systems engineering, product engineering, and customers to establish functional safety requirements and support customers through technical reviews and audits during the product life-cycle. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership in functional safety across multiple development teams simultaneously. You will also play a crucial role in refining the software development process and providing support where needed. Flexibility in work schedule is essential to support development teams across various global locations including North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in developing or supporting the development of embedded software using C/C++ for ARM microcontroller architecture. Additionally, experience in developing or supporting the development of elements requiring hardware-software integration (HSI) and defining software safety requirements, performing safety analysis, and overseeing verification/validation of software and hardware integration as per the requirements of ISO26262:2018-6 and/or ASPICE is required. Certification as a Functional Safety Engineer (CFSE), experience with semiconductor IC development (power and/or sensors), and familiarity with RISC-V microcontroller architecture would be considered beneficial for this role.,
