As a Senior Correspondent specializing in automotive journalism, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of cars, covering a wide range of topics including new vehicle launches, industry events, technological advancements, and consumer trends.

Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit compelling news articles, features, and reviews on various aspects of the automotive industry.
• Conduct interviews with industry experts, automotive executives, and enthusiasts to gather insights and quotes for articles.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the automotive world.
• Collaborate with editors and fellow journalists to brainstorm ideas, develop story angles, and ensure accuracy and quality of content.
• Attend automotive events, press conferences, and product launches as needed, providing on-the-ground coverage and analysis.
• Engage with our audience through social media platforms, responding to comments, sharing content, and fostering community interaction.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
• Strong passion for automobiles and a keen interest in automotive journalism.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in conducting interviews, researching topics, and synthesizing information.
• Familiarity with AP style and basic SEO principles.
• Previous experience in journalism, blogging, or content creation is a plus, but not required.
