Senior Consultant - SAP Sales and Distribution (SD)

Job Title: Senior Consultant - SAP Sales and Distribution

• Lead and participate in at least 2 end-to-end SAP SD and SAP TM implementations.
• Analyze, design, and configure SAP SD/TM solutions across a range of industries (e.g., Automobile, FMCG, Retail, Pharma, Cement, Textiles).
• Conduct blueprint workshops and accurately map business processes to SAP solutions.
• Provide innovative and practical SAP SD and TM solutions tailored to business needs.
• Develop functional specifications and coordinate with the technical (ABAP) team for custom developments.
• Support integration between SAP SD and core modules like MM, PP, FICO, and ABAP.
• Configure Embedded and Decentralized SAP TM systems and evaluate system landscapes.
• Personalize SAP TM user interfaces and implement business client components.
• Handle all aspects of transportation lifecycle processes: inbound, outbound, planning, execution, and freight settlement.
• Manage SAP TM master data, network master data, and planning profiles.
• Customize Post Processing Framework (PPF) for TM outputs.
• Work on charge calculation, cost distribution, strategic freight management, subcontracting processes, and advanced planning (VSR Optimizer).
• Ensure high-quality project delivery and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including customer top management.
• Stay updated with SAP best practices and new functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 to 14 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and SAP TM.
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Deep understanding of business processes and industry practices.
• Integration experience with SAP FICO, MM, PP, and ABAP.
• Strong functional knowledge of TM modules: Order Management, Freight Planning, Freight Settlement.
• Experience in TM Master Data, Planning Profiles, and Object Worklists (POWL).
• Experience in UI customization, SAP TM Infrastructure, and EWM/GTS integration.
• Proficient in debugging and working with technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate across teams and client stakeholders.
• SAP Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
