Senior Associate - Collections - US Shift

The Collections Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This position will report to the Collections Supervisor. Responsibilities include reviewing open accounts for collection efforts, making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while maintaining customer relations, resolving client-billing problems, identifying issues attributing to account delinquency, reviewing and monitoring assigned accounts, reconciling accounts, resolving outstanding invoices and chargebacks, meeting quarterly metrics, working cross-functionally within the team and with other departments, proactively managing the portfolio, preparing outstanding accounts statements, responding to inquiries from customers, and having the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, have the ability to work independently, proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, attention to detail, experience in a telecommunications environment (preferred but not required), familiarity with advance collections tools like cadebill & SFDC (preferred), and be creative, self-disciplined, and capable of completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
