Senior AI Engineer

As a Senior AI Engineer at our leading global credit rating and financial analytics organization, you will play a key role in leveraging cutting-edge AI and analytics to redefine how financial intelligence is powered and delivered. Collaborating with dynamic global teams spanning finance, technology, and client solutions, you will work in a hybrid setup in Pune or Mumbai, blending flexibility with the spirit of teamwork. Your responsibilities will include developing and deploying advanced AI solutions using the latest Generative AI techniques, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, designing and building Agentic AI systems, and fine-tuning Foundation and Small Language Models (SLMs) tailored for domain-specific content generation. In addition, you will build scalable AI workflows, lead the end-to-end AI solution development lifecycle, and collaborate closely with cross-functional global teams to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions. You will continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and research to keep our AI toolkit state-of-the-art. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 to 7 years of experience in software engineering/development with a minimum of 2 years specializing in AI/ML roles. Deep hands-on expertise with GenAI technologies, strong programming skills in Python, and experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms are essential. Exposure to NLP, knowledge graphs, ML ops, or similar related areas is a big plus, along with decent communication skills and a self-driven, proactive mindset. You should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree from premier Indian institutes in Computer Science, Any Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
