As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing AI and machine learning models for image understanding and analytics. Your role will involve implementing computer vision techniques for 3D data processing, conducting research and innovation in AI applications, integrating AI-based analytics into software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while providing mentorship and expertise. In this role, you will develop and optimize deep learning models for object detection, semantic segmentation, and classification. You will apply machine learning algorithms to large-scale 2D/3D datasets for image understanding and analytics. Additionally, you will train, validate, and improve AI models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, OpenCV, and PCL. You will design and implement computer vision techniques for 3D reconstruction, photogrammetry, and point cloud analytics. Developing algorithms for geospatial data processing, projective geometry, and deep learning on 3D data will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will optimize computational efficiency for handling large-scale 3D datasets. Staying updated on the latest advancements in AI, computer vision, and machine learning will be essential in this role. You will participate in internal and publicly funded research projects to enhance AI-based analytics for linear infrastructures and transfer academic research findings into real-world AI applications. Extending and integrating AI-based analytics into existing software solutions will be a key aspect of your role. You will develop production-ready implementations using Python, C/C++, and Matlab in a Linux environment, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed AI/ML models. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts, will be crucial. You will provide expertise in reviewing scientific literature and algorithm development while also mentoring junior team members. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should possess 5+ years of research experience in deep learning, machine learning, or related areas, focusing on developing and scaling innovative AI solutions. Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and Matlab are required, along with proven experience in AI and machine learning, particularly in computer vision and 3D data processing. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, experience with large-scale data processing and optimization techniques, and knowledge of geospatial data processing and projective geometry are also necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members will be beneficial in this role.,
