Cloud24x7 is seeking a Network Architect Engineer to join the Global SOC team in Ahmedabad, India. As an Engineer, you will collaborate within a team environment to oversee the security devices on partner client networks. This role involves working with a renowned global leader in IT Security Services, supporting a diverse partner base amidst the ever-evolving technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include designing, testing, and evaluating network systems, as well as conducting network planning, modeling, and analysis. You will be tasked with managing technical network solutions and frameworks, troubleshooting network issues, and installing/maintaining hardware like firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points. Additionally, you will be involved in upgrading existing network components and implementing security countermeasures when vulnerabilities arise. Developing professional proposals and design documentation, as well as coordinating with multiple technology vendors, are also key aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 4 years of Domain Experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to network architecture and design, and the remaining experience in implementation or firewall engineering. Proficiency in understanding the technical requirements of the employer's business is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, and DHCP. Familiarity with security protocols like SDWAN, VPN, Firewall, and security devices such as Fortigate, Checkpoint, and Watchguard is crucial. Strong communication skills are vital as you will interact with relevant parties and international clients, often reporting to business leaders. The ability to convey information clearly, confidently, and professionally is a must. The ideal candidate should possess multitasking abilities, adhere to organizational policies, exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills, and demonstrate flexibility in working hours. Desirable certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCDA, CCDP, NSE4, NSE5, or equivalent firewall certifications are advantageous. Experience with international customers and advanced knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, security architecture, and remote access security techniques are highly desirable for this role.,
