Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Secondary Hindi Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for grades [mention specific grades, e.g., 610 or 9–12] in line with the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Design and implement assessments to evaluate student progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain detailed records of student achievement.
Encourage student participation through interactive teaching methods and activities.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies in the classroom.
Participate in departmental meetings, school functions, and parent-teacher conferences.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular lessons and support school-wide initiatives.
Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
Stay updated with current educational trends and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Hindi, Hindi Literature, or Education (with a specialization in Hindi).
B.Ed. (mandatory or preferred, based on school requirements).
Minimum [2–5] years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
Strong command of written and spoken Hindi; proficiency in English is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with CBSE/ICSE/IB/State curriculum (as applicable).
Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities (debates, drama, literature clubs).
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
