Job Overview.

We are looking for a Software Development Test Engineer candidate to join our team

Location : Bangalore

How You Will Make An Impact

• Create test plans, automate test cases, and propose test strategies for team review
• Execute tests, document results, and uphold quality standards
• Generate test reports and contribute to decision-making processes
• Communicate project and testing status effectively to Development and QA teams
• Perform additional quality assurance tasks as needed.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Proficient in Java programming
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and WireMock
• Experience testing APIs, including REST API, JSON, and XML
• Knowledge of REST API tools like Swagger and Rest Assured
• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycles, and processes
• Strong programming skills, debugging experience, and problem-solving abilities
• Collaborate with Development to review feature designs and validate test specifications
• Identify and manage defects throughout the resolution cycle
• Exposure to Protractor and Big Data technologies is advantageous
• Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG or Junit or Selenium
• Solid understanding of frameworks, Java, and object-oriented programming concepts
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL databases
• Thorough knowledge of Agile QA/Dev processes and SDLC
• Previous experience in Payment/e-commerce industry preferred
• Extensive experience in creating, updating, reviewing, and executing automated and manual tests
• Proficiency in both functional and system testing.

Additional Skillset:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Proficiency in QA processes, principles, and the software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence
• Working knowledge of application servers like WebLogic
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
