SDE-1 Backend Developer (Node.js, TypeScript, Strapi)

You are a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Developer with 13 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Your primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining scalable backend services to ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements, write clean and efficient code, optimize applications for speed and scalability, work with databases to ensure data consistency and security, and participate in code reviews for continuous improvement of development processes. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Collaborate with front-end developers and team members to integrate user-facing elements. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Optimize applications for speed and scalability. - Work with databases to ensure data consistency and security. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 13 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Familiarity with database systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL. - Good understanding of Docker. - Strong knowledge of calling REST API integration with UI components. - Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Good knowledge of Git. - Familiar with using SonarQube for code quality and coverage. - Quick learner with good communication and teamwork skills. Good To Have: - Experience with Strapi or other headless CMS platforms. - Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc. - Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth and JWT.
