Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile SDLC and facilitate Scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience leading Scrum teams, a strong background in Agile Mindset, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and advanced hands-on expertise with Jira and Confluence. The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, ensuring that teams adhere to Agile principles and continuously improve their processes. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Metrics & Reporting: Utilize Jira and Confluence to track team progress, generate reports, and ensure transparency. Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the teams progress. Coach Agile Best Practices: Guide teams and stakeholders in the effective use of Agile/Scrum practices and values. Foster Team Collaboration: Build good working relationship with a Team Product Owner, encourage a culture of open communication, continuous feedback, and self-organization. Continuous Improvement: Drive retrospectives and implement action items for process enhancements. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with product owners, business stakeholders, and management. Prepare End-of-Sprint Report. Support SAFe Initiatives: Collaborate with Release Train Engineers and other Scrum Masters in a SAFe environment (if applicable). Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams. Prior experience in the e-Commerce, Marketing or Retail industries. Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or equivalent. SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist) is a major plus. Agile at Scale: Hands-on experience with SAFe or other Agile scaling frameworks is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Understanding of an Agile SCLC from ideation to production release. Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including workflow customization, dashboard/report creation, and integration with other tools. Knowledge of Xray and QA best practices. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire teams. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Skills Experience working in distributed or remote teams. Background in software development or technical project management. Familiarity with Automated QA practices and tools. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
