The Role of the Junior SCM Analyst is to lead and guide Management Trainees in developing the supplier data base with inventory management To maintain and improve the purchasing process and drive the Organization to meet the required KPI s. Responsibilities: 1. Based on MRP signal, need to release PO to supplier on weekly basis via Oracle 11i. 2. MRP execution (New buy, Push out and Cancellation. 3. Review MRP to execute appropriate action and manage day-to-day relationship with suppliers. 4. Communicate with local or oversee suppliers. 5. Negotiate price, lead time and MOQ. 6. Need to work with logistics team and with forwarder to bring material on time. 7. Assures material is available to meet demanding schedule requirements by working with all functions to expedite material as needed. 8. Address and resolve the due pos. 9. Maintaining optimum level of inventory. 10. Review excess and obsolete parts with planning / team lead. 11. Clear MRB/RTV, RDRs and 12. Eliminate AP holds. 13. Active participation in EHS related activities like Identification of aspects and Impacts, HIRA, Emergency preparedness , continuous improvements etc and enable to report about hazardous situations to respective supervisor / department managers as required. Authority: 1. Authorized to take quick and correct decisions with respect to the on time delivery of the materials from suppliers. 2. Authorized to take prompt decisions with respect to the inventory reduc Academic Qualification / Job Qualification: 1. Bachelors of Engineering in EEE/ECE/E & I/Mech with 3 -5 year of experience (or) 2. Diploma in EEE/ECE/E&I/Mech with 4 - 6 years of experience (or) 3. MBA in SCM with 2-3 year of experience Skills / competence required to perform the Job: 1. Communication 2. Problem solving 3. Responsibility. 4. Self-management 5. Commercial Awareness. 6. Decision Making 7 Leadership 8. Trustworthiness & Ethics 9. Results Orientation 10.Good knowledge in MS Office 11. Experience in EMS or OEM industry preferably telecommunication systems. 12. Basic Electronics (Active, Passive components & Semi conductor) knowledge.
