Role & responsibilities: Position: Lab Assistant for School Laboratory Location: Diamond Jubilee High School, Mumbai Qualifications: Background in Science (Preference given to candidates with a Chemistry background) Key Responsibilities: Create an environment conducive to active and participatory learning. Employ resource-based instructional practices and collaborate with teaching staff. Plan and execute classroom displays and bulletin boards following school guidelines. Set up the lab area by adding or replacing teaching-learning resources as per school guidelines. Coordinate and plan the annual, monthly, weekly, and daily curriculum, and share with the supervisor. Assist in setting up laboratory equipment for science classes. Support science teachers in testing new laboratory experiments prior to classroom implementation. Assist students in using laboratory equipment. Maintain inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies, and inform when new supplies are needed. Ensure laboratory equipment is clean and in good working order. Collect and distribute textbooks and materials. Follow AKES,I Health & Safety practices to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
