Role: School Facilities Maintenance Head

Type: Full-time, On-site (Roorkee)We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Head to oversee the management and upkeep of school infrastructure, including canteen, residential quarters, and academic blocks. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance standards.The candidate will also be responsible for budgeting, procurement of materials, managing a team of maintenance staff, and coordinating with external vendors/contractors for specialized tasks. We are looking for someone proactive who can lead from the front and personally handle on-ground issues when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of all school facilities.
• Basic knowledge of MEP related work
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure preventive maintenance.
• Handle budgeting for maintenance projects and manage procurement.
• ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of maintenance staff.
• liaise with external vendors/contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work.
• Be actively involved in ground-level problem-solving and repair tasks when required.
  

Qualification

s:

5–10 years of experience in Facility Managemen

t

(preferably in schools/colleges).

Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and safety protocols.Leadership and team management skills.Experience in budgeting and procurement.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications in Facility Management or related fields (preferred).Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver under deadlines.

Preference: Candidates from Roorkee, Haridwar, Dehradun Uttarakhand. Admin experience will not work.Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per monthFree accommodation and all three mealsFree education for children
