Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled SAP Archiving Specialist with deep techno-functional expertise in SAP ECC and S/4 environments. The candidate will lead end-to-end SAP Archiving implementation projects, focusing on OpenText Archive and Content Server setups, configurations, and monitoring. The role requires hands-on experience in archiving business processes across modules like PTP, OTC, FICO, and others, along with strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute SAP Archiving implementation projects in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, HR, and other environments. Analyze and understand business flows for archiving across various modules such as PTP, OTC, FICO, etc. Handle techno-functional requirements gathering, translating business needs into effective archiving strategies. Design and implement archiving rules and policies using SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM). Execute, monitor, and manage archiving jobs and processes, including deployment and cutover activities. Work on GDPR compliance, Retention Management, Retention Warehouse scenarios within ILM. Manage audit requirements related to custom archiving policies at object levels like Company Code, Sales Organization, Plant, etc. Handle blocking and retrieval of archived data via PBS (Presentation Server) and AIS (Archive Information System). Setup, configure, monitor, and manage OpenText Archive & Content Server integration with SAP systems. Configure Archive-ID creation, certificate enablement, archive buffer setup, and volume cleanup jobs on OpenText servers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, providing leadership, training, and coordination support. Ensure efficient reporting and retrieval of archived data using appropriate tools and solutions. Provide hands-on support for archiving testing processes and troubleshoot issues as needed. Manage unstructured data archiving solutions effectively. Mandatory Skills: Extensive experience in SAP OpenText Archiving implementation, configuration, and support. Strong knowledge of SAP ILM including GDPR, retention management, and audit policies. Hands-on experience with OpenText Archive & Content Server (setup, configuration, monitoring). Expertise in SAP archiving for various business modules and end-to-end project execution. Experience with PBS, AIS for data retrieval and blocking. Desired Skills: Strong techno-functional expertise in SAP Archiving and OpenText solutions. Knowledge of multiple SAP environments including ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, SRM, and HR archiving. Experience with archiving of unstructured data. Additional Information: Ability to handle teams and coordinate with functional and client stakeholders effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in deployment, upgrade, and support projects related to SAP Archiving.
