SAP ABAP Developer

As a SAP ABAP Developer at Plansee India, Mysore, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in driving technological innovation and maintaining excellence within the core platforms that power SAP's offerings. Your work will be instrumental in supporting scalable, reliable, and industry-aligned solutions critical to our product ecosystem. You should have a strong educational background with a bachelor's degree in engineering (CS/IS/E&C) or MCA, along with at least 5+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP developer. Your responsibilities will include having excellent hands-on experience in OOABAP with good debugging skills, working on all the WRICEF Objects, and experience with report development, performance tuning, modification, and support of SAP customized and standard programming. Moreover, you will be required to have good hands-on experience and knowledge on OData, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, developing Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and forms using ADOBE forms technology. You will also need to maintain high-quality code standards through peer reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices, and actively contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis for production issues to ensure minimal business disruption. It is essential that you stay updated with the latest SAP technology trends such as S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori/UI5, and bring innovation into your daily work. Working across SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP/QM, and FI to deliver end-to-end functionalities through configuration, development, testing, and support will also be part of your responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you should be autonomous, self-confident, customer and users oriented, with an interest in business and functional topics. You should have the ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective, work within a motivated and agile development team (Scrum), possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
