Salesforce Testing or Salesforce Tester

As a Software Engineer (SE) or Senior Software Engineer (SSE) at CGI, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and attention to detail as a Salesforce Testing or Salesforce Tester. With 4 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various Salesforce platforms. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing, and validating data integrations between Salesforce and external/internal systems. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and configuration. Experience with JIRA for defect tracking, Confluence for documentation, and knowledge of integration testing, including REST/SOAP APIs and data validation, will be crucial. Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and processes and test automation frameworks will be beneficial. Your analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, will be key in reporting and tracking bugs, participating in Agile/Scrum environments, and contributing to test documentation. A Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required for this position.
