Salesforce QA Engineer

You are a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with over 6 years of experience, seeking to join our dynamic team at IBOTIX in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform, specifically focusing on integrations and data integrity. Your expertise in ETL testing will be crucial for this role as you collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations. You will primarily focus on ETL testing to validate data transformation, data loading, and data integrity within the Salesforce environment. Additionally, you will conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, while identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using a defect tracking system. Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, participating in Agile development processes, and contributing to test automation frameworks will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field) and a minimum of 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce testing. Your proven experience in ETL testing, knowledge of Salesforce architecture, familiarity with testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools, proficiency in writing SQL queries, and experience with defect tracking tools are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I), experience with test automation frameworks, performance testing tools, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
