Select solar energy products, systems, or services for customers based on electrical energy requirements, site conditions & price. 5. Assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment, using equipment such as tape measures, compasses, and computer software. 6. Calculate potential solar resources or solar array production for a particular site considering issues such as climate, shading, and roof orientation. 7. Develop marketing or strategic plans for sales territories. 8. Gather information from prospective customers to identify their solar energy needs. 9. Provide customers with information such as quotes, orders, sales, shipping, warranties, credit, funding options, incentives, or tax rebates. 10. Provide technical information about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services to potential customers. 11. Ensure prompt follow -up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution, etc. 12. Prepare and maintain detailed weekly & monthly forecasts and present them to the reporting officer. Key Performance Indicators: 1. Should have Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills. 2. General Solar PV technology and market knowledge. 3. Should be confident and demonstrate influencing skills in a consulting environment. 4. Candidate should be confident to present in front of large audience. 5. Self-motivated & fast paced. 6. This involves the following: Establishing contact with the prospect could involve several calls and may need a call at a time beyond office hours. This will also involve making calls at different times in order to achieve success. Need Analysis Eligibility Profiling Setting up an appointment Follow up with the prospect post every meeting with the sales officer until conclusion. 3. Basis feedback from the prospect, seek interventions from the senior sales resource or by yourself in satisfying customer needs with the objective of converting the prospect to a customer 4. Responsible for conversion suspects prospects customers 5. Provide support to the sales team in increasing conversions by: Prompt calling to all suspects/prospects Timely follow up with all prospects Cordial relationships with the sales officer were mapped. Collaboration with the sales officer in providing feedback. 6. Responsible for complete knowledge of company products and policies as well those of competition 7. Responsible for the quality of the conversation, which entails the following: Accuracy Product Knowledge Appraisal Skills Punctuality & TOS TAT commitments 8. Ability to handle objections 9. Updating the software. You must capture your conversation with the customer effectively such that a third person is able to carry on the conversation with the customer where you left off. 10. Generating References: The quality of your conversation and your ability to connect with the customer is also reflected in the number of references that you generate. 11. Providing market feedback to the supervisor: It is important to share with your supervisor any trends that you come across whilst speaking to a prospect. Examples could be objections from prospects regards the processing fee being charged by us vis--vis the same being charged by a specific competitor.
