Job Description

Job Title: Safety Officer Location: Jogeshwari, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at the construction site. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety signage at the site. Conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and awareness programs for site workers and staff. Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to maintain a safe working environment. Liaise with government and regulatory bodies as required for safety compliance. Required Qualifications / Skills: Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry . In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards, legal regulations, and best practices. Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills. Ability to handle emergency situations and implement risk mitigation plans. Certification in First Aid or Fire Safety is an added advantage.
