Job Title: Junior Ruby on Rails Developer Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 1-3 Years Job Description: We are seeking a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer with hands-on experience in building web applications. You will work on various development projects, contribute to the backend and frontend, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails. Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend applications. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented Ruby code. Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) for data management. Optimize application performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration. Implement unit testing and debugging processes. Deploy applications on cloud servers (AWS, Heroku, or similar). Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development. Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite). Frontend development experience (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, HAML, SCSS). Good knowledge of Git version control and Agile development. Understanding of MVC architecture, OOP concepts, and RESTful APIs. Experience with unit testing (RSpec, MiniTest). Familiarity with TDD and BDD methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to Cloud Services (AWS, DigitalOcean, Heroku). Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
