Rockstar ZScaler Sr. Engineer/Architect

Design, implement, and manage ZScaler Internet Access (ZIA), ZScaler Private Access (ZPA), and ZScaler Digital Experience (ZDX) solutions for various clients. Develop and maintain ZScaler security policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client compliance requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues related to ZScaler for our clients. Optimize ZScaler performance and scalability to support our clients growing business needs. Integrate ZScaler with other security tools and platforms, such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity management systems, for our clients. Lead the implementation of Zero Trust security architecture and principles for client projects. Evaluate new ZScaler features and technologies and make recommendations for adoption to our clients. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to client and junior engineers. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of ZScaler configurations and procedures for each client. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, infrastructure, and application development teams, to ensure seamless integration of ZScaler solutions for our clients. Act as a subject matter expert for ZScaler, providing training and support to client and internal teams. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in network security with strong focus on ZScaler and other tools. Deep understanding of ZScaler architecture, components, and services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX). Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale ZScaler deployments. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS) and security principles. Experience with firewall, proxy, and web security technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security best practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ZScaler certifications (e.g., ZCCA, ZCSP) are highly desirable. Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible) is a plus. Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and frameworks. Prior experience working on client-facing projects is preferred. Bonus Points: Experience with other SASE solutions.
