Risk Engineer - thermal power

As an Associate Vice President (AVP) or Vice President (VP) of Risk Engineering within the Power Sector, you will be responsible for leading high-impact risk assessments, site surveys, and technical evaluations for top-tier energy clients. Your role will involve conducting detailed risk surveys at power generation facilities, delivering actionable risk reports with loss estimates and improvement plans, as well as collaborating with stakeholders across Risk, Operations, and Insurance. Additionally, you will support new project reviews and international risk placements while working closely with business leaders, ranging from engineers to CXOs. The ideal candidate for this position should have 10-15 years of experience in Risk, Engineering & Consulting, with a focus on operations/maintenance in power plants. You should possess a strong grip on technical audits, risk analysis, and reporting, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. A Mechanical Engineering degree, preferably from an IIT/NIT, is required for this role.
