Risk Engineer - Power Generation

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) or Vice President (VP) in Risk Engineering within the Power Sector, you will be responsible for leading high-impact risk assessments, site surveys, and technical evaluations for top-tier energy clients. Your primary focus will be on thermal/hydro power plants, with experience in renewables considered a plus. Your key responsibilities will include conducting detailed risk surveys at power generation facilities, delivering actionable risk reports with loss estimates and improvement plans, collaborating with stakeholders across Risk, Operations, and Insurance, supporting new project reviews, and international risk placements. Additionally, you will work closely with business leaders, ranging from engineers to CXOs. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Operations/Maintenance within power plants, a strong understanding of technical audits, risk analysis, and reporting, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a Mechanical Engineering degree (preference for IIT/NIT alumni).
