Research Trainee

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scientific research and experiments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and prepare reports summarizing findings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of innovative solutions tailored to project needs.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of research activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategize on upcoming tasks.
• Support the mentoring of junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in any discipline of the Sciences (M.Sc preferred) from a recognized institution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret scientific data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and research techniques is a plus.
• Must have a background in the PwD community and be eligible for diversity hiring initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or project experience in a research or laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of specific software or analytical tools relevant to scientific research.
