Research Coordinator

Project Brief:

• Liaising with and coordinating activities involving officers at Karnataka s Department of Health and Family Welfare, the administration and staff of public hospitals, and ASHAs.
• Coordinating activities among members of the project s Technical Working Group.
• Conducting rapid searches for literature, as required, to support strategy
• development.
• Contributing to the development of quantitative and/or qualitative research designs, including research tools and data collection strategies; data management and analytical plans.
• Carrying out quantitative and/or qualitative research and analyzing data.
• Undertaking travel as and when required for field work.
• Preparing reports and materials for dissemination, as required.
• Carrying out additional tasks as required by the Director.
• Travel as required.
• Any other task assigned by the PI.

• Masters in Public Health, epidemiology or related field

• Masters in Public Health

• Around 4 years of work experience
• Research either independently or as part of a team that involved primary data collection, data analysis and development of a research output
• Engagement with different levels of the public health system
• Multi-stakeholder coordination
