As a Junior QA Engineer at our company, located in Calicut, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of ERP systems. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and scripts for ERP systems. Additionally, you will be involved in various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ERP modules. Collaboration with both the team and stakeholders is essential in this role. You will work closely with business analysts to understand requirements and ensure that test scenarios align with business needs. Your ability to analyze and report defects in a detailed manner will be crucial for troubleshooting purposes. Furthermore, you will contribute to the automation of test scripts to enhance testing efficiency. In addition to testing responsibilities, you will also support ERP system upgrades, patches, and implementations by validating features and ensuring seamless functionality. Participation in requirements reviews and providing feedback from a QA perspective will be part of your duties. Collaboration with developers to validate system changes and their impact on business processes is also expected. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in software testing, particularly focusing on ERP systems, is required. Previous experience as a Business Analyst or in a role involving requirements gathering and documentation will be beneficial. An understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and testing tools is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are also necessary for this position. The ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and understanding of Agile development methodologies will contribute to your success as a Junior QA Engineer.,
