Job Title: SQL Developer with Jasper Reports Location: Chennai (Work from Office) Experience: 3 to 5 years Employment Type: Full-time Department: IT / Software Development Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with hands-on experience in Jasper Reports to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL query writing and optimization skills, and experience designing and generating reports using Jasper Reports. You will be responsible for developing complex reports, integrating with databases, and supporting business teams with data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom reports using Jasper Reports (iReport / Jasper Soft Studio). Write and optimize complex SQL queries , stored procedures, and views. Design and develop data models and reporting solutions based on business requirements. Integrate Jasper Reports with relational databases like MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle . Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather report requirements. Troubleshoot report-related issues and provide support to end-users. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in generated reports. Create documentation for all report logic and deployment processes. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in SQL and relational databases. Proficiency in Jasper Reports and related tools like iReport Designer or Jasper Soft Studio . Experience in designing dashboards and pixel-perfect reports. Understanding of reporting parameters , sub reports , charts , and crosstabs . Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries and reports. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus.
