Role & responsibilities Risk assessment of mechanical equipments, including static, rotary and piping Prepare, observe, maintain, update inspection plans Develop a system for effective implementation, monitoring and recordkeeping of RBI Recommend risk mitigation activities to ensure mechanical integrity Develop system for corrosion control for entire complex Develop a system for ensuring correct specification, scope and inspection requirements during purchase of major equipments. Ensure quality during manufacturing Develop a system for supplier evaluation towards maintenance prevention Develop a system for RCFA and FPA Ensure welding quality for repair / replacements jobs. Establish requirement for specific NDT activity, ensure quality work. Carry out RLA of critical equipments / piping Conduct LCC to ensure reliability at optimum cost. Ensure renewals of all licences sanctioned under SMPV (U) Rules, Gas Cylinder Rules, IBR at appropriate time. Assist HOD-CES in this regard Plan and organize testing and certification of pressure vessels under S.M.P.V. Rules as per statutory requirements. Plan and organize testing, calibration & certification of safety relief valves under SMPV Rules. Coordinate and assist HOD-CES in getting statutory approvals for new requirements, amendments under PESO, IBR, DISH. Work as IMS (Safety systems, EMS and QMS) coordinator for complete Case department and maintain and upkeep all concerned documentation Preferred candidate profile Mechanical Engineer (full time) from a reputed engineering college Having 12-16 years experience in Mechanical Reliability field
