Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Regulatory Compliance:
• Assist in meeting statutory regulations, including substance registration in accordance with REACH, TSCA, and other region-specific as well as application-specific regulations (e.g., food contact, toy safety, packaging).
• Help confirm global inventory status for Global Range products.
• Coordinate with R&D, Marketing/Product Management, and Product Owners to monitor compliance status.
• Track competitors regulatory practices for benchmarking and stay informed of industry trends.
• Support the identification and documentation of remediation actions for non-compliant products/services (e.g., reclassification, withdrawal).
• Coordinate Product Registration:
• Support the product registration process internally and liaise with external service providers under the guidance of the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
• Assist in gathering information from Marketing, Product Management, and R&D for registration needs.
• Monitor upcoming regulations and registration deadlines; help manage engagement with external consultants as required.
• Documentation & Communication:
• Assist in issuing compliance documents required by customers, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with the sales team to support customer communication and respond to compliance-related queries.
• Help prepare compliance documentation for newly launched products including safety data sheets
• Contribute to maintaining an internal knowledge database on product and region-specific regulations and compliance.
