Conduct FMEA studies to identify potential failures in the manufacturing process and implement corrective actions. Strong knowledge of Stencil Design. Good Communication required. Strong knowledge of all SMT Processes of AOI, SPI, Reflow, Mounter, Printer, ICT, FCT etc. Can make new programs on Fuji NXT. Must have knowledge of SMT machines maintenance. Works autonomously within established guidelines, standard operating procedures and defined processes and helps determine the appropriate approach for new assignments. Works on professional engineering assignments to implement, maintain and develop methods and processes in a specific competence area. Improve the process quality of SMT lines to World Class level. Improve the MTBF & MTTR of SMT lines by performing preventive maintenance, calibration as per schedule. Ensure the SMT lines availability for production by minimizing the downtime. Perform Root Cause Analysis of problems(process & equipment breakdown) related to SMT m/c and execute the needed corrective actions and preventive actions. Support NPI (New Product Introduction ) by generating the programs for the SMT m/c and conducting the product trials and ramp-up. Execute Continuous Improvement Projects in SMT in order to realize increased productivity, reduced defects, reduced scrap, reduced costs. Adopts a broad perspective when solving problems and spots new, less obvious solutions. Anticipates patterns and links. Looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications. Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience, to guide and support junior team members and to assist in their formal orientation and training. May co-ordinate tasks, check on quality and work progress and act as coach / mentor. Basic knowledge in MS Office and good communication skill. Should have Knowledge of Systematic Problem-Solving methodologies like 7 Tools of Quality, 8D, A3, DMAIC, VSM. Should be a Team Player who can work with a cross functional team to achieve the team KPI's. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years of related experience in SMT. Hands on experience in the following machines preferred. Please make sure to comply with ESD, FOD, and cleanroom standards specific to aerospace. Manage SMT machine maintenance schedules and coordinate with OEMs for technical support. Analyze production data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions. Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. 10+ years of experience in SMT manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors. In-depth understanding of SMT equipment (pick & place, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, etc.). Hands-on experience with high-mix, low-volume PCB assembly. Familiarity with standards such as AS9100, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Knowledge of ERP/MES systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on aerospace-grade electronics (e.g., avionics, satellite systems). Certification in IPC standards or Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with ITAR and export compliance (if applicable).

Manufacturing professional with strong expertise in SMT processes, production leadership, and performance metrics (OEE, FPY, DPMO). Proven ability to manage shift operations, coach teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards. You Have: Engineering or diploma with 6+ Years of Experience in Manufacturing Industries. Experience in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) First Pass Yield (FPY) Line Efficiency Defect Per Million Opportunities (DPMO). In-depth understanding of SMT processessolder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, and wave/selective soldering. Clear communication skills for shift handovers, escalation of technical issues, and cross-functional coordination with QA, planning, engineering, and maintenance teams. Experience in MSL Material handling / ESD safety practices. It Would be nice if you also had: Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001). Awareness of ESD safety practices and ISO standards. Oversee and coordinate the activities of team members during the assigned shift. Assign tasks and ensure the team follows standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure smooth and efficient operation / Production to meet targets and deadlines. Respond to operational issues, make decisions on the floor, and escalate when necessary. Coordinate with other departments (maintenance, Materials, etc.) to resolve disruptions in quick on real time production challenges. Train new employees or team members on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices. And Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance. Verify daily maintenance of SMT equipment is performed & Coordinate with engineering or maintenance for machine issues or line changeovers. Complete shift reports, record production data (output, rejects, rework), and participate in daily shift handovers and communicate issues effectively. Support lean manufacturing initiatives and suggest process improvements (5S, Kaizen). Lead root cause analysis for production issues using tools like 5 Whys or Fishbone Diagrams. Enforce ESD and PPE usage and ensure the production area is safe and organized.

Job description Role & responsibilities Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production aligns with planning schedules. Prioritize tasks based on daily operational plans. Receive XY and BOM-related documents from the Engineering Team to initiate programming activities. According to the daily production plan, receive kits from the store and commence kitting activities. Verify that all customer requirements are met based on the BOM and programming before offering machines to Quality for inspection. Once completed, machines are prepared for loading. Load machines with specific components as per programming, followed by quality verification. Once quality verification is complete and no issues are found, machines are offered for production. Any discrepancies are reported to the corresponding departments. SMT pick-and-place completed boards are sent to Quality to ensure all mounts are correct before proceeding to reflow. Set the reflow profile according to customer specifications and standards. After completing the reflow process, boards are subjected to post-reflow inspection and AOI inspection, followed by X-ray inspection. Once all operations for SMT boards are complete, they are transitioned to the THT process. Any rework or issues are resolved during the SMT stage. Ensure production is carried out as scheduled, delivering quality products to customers. Maintain production-related documents and report to top management. Responsible for overseeing Production Engineers, Junior Engineers, GETs, DETs, Operators, and Apprentices. Continuously maintain and improve day-to-day activities to meet or exceed departmental KPIs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, in ECE/EEE. Skills Required: Proven experience in a production supervisory or management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and lean manufacturing principles. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
