Redhat OpenShift Engineer

You are an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 5-10 years of experience. Your role involves leading and supporting containerized application platform initiatives by architecting, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting OpenShift environments to ensure scalability, security, and high performance. As an OpenShift SME, you will provide technical leadership, drive best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advance container orchestration capabilities. Your responsibilities include designing and architecting OpenShift environments aligned with enterprise goals, defining best practices for deployment and management, deploying and managing OpenShift clusters across various environments, integrating OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, ensuring high availability and reliability, implementing security best practices, optimizing resource usage, and collaborating with teams to integrate OpenShift with existing workflows. Key technical skills required for this role include proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift installation, configuration, and management, expertise in security, firewall, and storage concepts, strong Linux administration skills, experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, scripting skills in Python and Bash, expertise in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, familiarity with CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions. Soft skills such as strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, both technical and non-technical, ability to work independently and within a team, and collaboration with customers to understand their requirements are essential for this role. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, have experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, be flexible to work in a 24/7 support environment, and have proven experience as a DevOps Engineer. Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code tools, security best practices, and familiarity with OpenShift Pipelines, GitOps, or similar options would be a plus.,
