Recruitment (Phone Screening) Internship in Gurgaon

The selected intern will be responsible for conducting phone screenings by calling 1520 prospective candidates daily to conduct initial screening interviews for several open roles. You will follow a predefined questionnaire to ask standard questions about each candidate's current CTC (salary), notice period, past work experience, and motivation for a job change. It will be important to maintain detailed notes of each call, recording the candidate's answers and any noteworthy observations about their communication or background. As an intern, you will evaluate candidates" fit by assessing their communication skills, confidence, and responses during the call. Your judgment will be crucial in determining if the candidate meets the basic requirements and role expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for deciding which candidates should be qualified for the next round of interviews, providing feedback or recommendations to the senior HR/recruitment team about candidates to move forward, and politely deselecting those who do not meet the criteria. Collaboration with the HR team is essential to coordinate follow-ups, schedule further interviews for shortlisted candidates, or update candidates on their application status as needed. It is important to maintain data by updating internal trackers or databases with candidate information and screening outcomes to ensure an organized recruitment process (e.g., noting who was screened, qualified, or rejected). Furthermore, as the first point of contact for candidates, you will serve as a friendly and professional representative of the company. You will be responsible for representing the company well by answering basic queries about the role and providing a positive candidate experience during the call.
