  • Here's a more detailed breakdown of common duties: Front Desk & Reception Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Welcoming: Providing a positive first impression by warmly greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.
  • Answering Phones: Managing a multi-line phone system, screening calls, and forwarding them to the correct individuals.
  • Mail & Deliveries: Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, sorting, and distributing them.
  • Visitor Management: Registering visitors, issuing badges, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Maintaining Reception Area: Keeping the reception area tidy and presentable, ensuring it reflects the company's image.
  • Administrative Support: Scheduling: Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining files, updating records, and managing databases.
  • Supply Management: Monitoring office supplies, placing orders, and maintaining inventory.
  • Basic Clerical Tasks: Photocopying, faxing, and assisting with document preparation.
  • Communication: Drafting emails, sending out communications, and interacting with vendors and clients.
  • Other Potential Responsibilities: Assisting with travel arrangements for employees. Supporting HR and other departments with tasks like scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinating and assisting with office events and meetings. Providing general administrative support to various teams within the organization.
