In this role as a Technology expert within the Global Product Group and Power Transformers Factories at our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting Technology programs and R&D projects globally. Reporting directly to the Global Technology Manager for Power Transformers, you will be responsible for being a reference expert for various global and regional R&D teams. You will contribute to the execution of yearly roadmap targets, provide proposals for the future development of Transformers Technology, and assess the feasibility of new ideas. Additionally, you will support investigations of failures, provide training to less senior engineers, and document your knowledge effectively. You will also be involved in revising and creating Technical Standards, preparing technical reports of R&D projects, and supporting factories in reviewing and testing complex transformers. Identifying potential Intellectual Property needs and upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity will be key aspects of your role. Ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines is also part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a similar field, with a minimum of 20 years of proven experience and knowledge in Power Transformers Technology. You should be willing to work in a remote and diverse environment, travel as needed to meet R&D teams, possess strong communication and presentation skills, and have proficiency in both spoken and written English.
