Role & responsibilities To manage team of Engineers and provide them technical guidance. To perform engineering analysis and prepare calculations complying with Project Design Criteria, codes of practises and company standards. To supervise drafters in the production of engineering drawings in order to develop practical and economic designs. To participate in the preparation of all project design deliverables including layout drawings, detail drawings, schedules, specifications, data sheets, calculations requisitions, and technical tender evaluations, in accordance with the project requirements and the company procedures and standards. To ensure technical integrity of design deliverables. To ensure that all document checking and design verification tasks have been completed in accordance with the company and project procedures before formal document issue. To ensure conformance with customer requirement. To liaise with other consultants and to co-ordinate the discipline activities with the others to achieve the overall project design objectives in the most efficient manner. Attend meetings as and when required and prepare minutes of meeting. Resolve technical problems at site by liaising with PE directly. Prepare tender specifications and assist team to select competent vendor Support supervisors in the day-to-day execution of projects Undertake learning and development on a consistent and regular basis. Preferred candidate profile Graduate or post graduate degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a reputed university. Degree recognised by Board will be an advantage. 8 to 10 years of experience with proven track record of successful delivery in infrastructural, building or industrial projects of Singapore Conversant with Eurocode design. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good written and communication skills. Capable of working in multi-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare & check the cost estimation of the project for civil-structural items. To prepare & check drawing and documents schedule & get it approved from the manager. To study and understand the job contents (Equipment Layout, Plot Plan, Vendor Drawings, GA/Arch. Details etc). To prepare & check design basis. To check vendor drawing from civil- structural input point of view. To check proposal and enquiry. To prepare & check BOQ, MTO. To prepare & check design calculations for civil-structural work. To track all civil-structural deliverables approval dates. To follow system procedure, documentation in civil department related to allotted project To prepare & check techno-commercial bid evaluation and order spec. preparation and checking for PEB structures/Civil-Structural work/Piling To participate in technical discussion along with vendors related to technical queries about equipment load data. Create civil engineering standards and design calculation templates/software.

Produce modal analysis and arrive at the loads on columns. 3. Prepare a design brief report as per the actual design analysis. 4. Check and issue GFCs of the CAD drawings ( Foundations, Staircase, Floor slab & beams, General Arrangements, Steel fabrication ) prepared by the draughtsman. 5. Monitor the designs prepared by junior engineers and peer view the same. 6. Attend site and client meetings as and when required. Key Skills ETAB, SAFE, Staad Pro, Cad, IS Codes, Site Inspection. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of structural design with a PG degree in Civil Engineering ( Structural Engineering as a Major ).
