Job Description

Quality Inspector Electrical

Fixed Term Contract - GI Roll - (Third Party Payroll)

Work Location: Karnataka, India

Key Responsibilities (Mention responsibilities applicable to the position. Add rows if needed)

Inspect electrical works in water supply schemes which includes electrical works in WTP, like pumps, motors, controls, etc and also any works in power transformers and distribution systems.
Witness the site tests for electrical systems/components
Review the material test reports for electrical equipment/components
Issue corrective action reports, non-conformance reports as per quality procedures
Review and close all open CAR & NCR
Prepare daily, monthly quality reports
Attend weekly, monthly project review meetings and present the quality updates including details on open and repeating issues
Provide any site related support/training to construction agency personnel

Technical / business-unit specific skills and knowledge

Should have background of having worked in water supplies and related infrastructure projects
Should have understanding of appropriate codes and standards
Should be familiar with preparing quality reports and procedure for issuing CARs and NCRs

Education

Electrical Engineer (B. Tech / B.E) with a minimum of 10 years of experience
