Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for conducting incoming, inprocess, final inspections, handling customer FAT, resolving quality issues and preparing CAPA.

key roles will be as follows:

Performing Incoming/ inprocess / Final inspection of sheet metal parts , Cabinets & machined parts.
Ensuring adherance to QAP/ MQP
Performing FAI, PDI inspections
Handling Internal/ External complaints - Preparing RCA & CAPA
Ensuring 5s & Safety

Desired Candidate Profile

1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical
Strong understanding of PDI (Production Development & Inspection), QC (Quality Control), MQP (Manufacturing Quality Process).
Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge etc.
Candidate should have good knowledge of welding symbols, should be able to understant weldment drawings
Good knowledge of standard related to fabrication like std for visual inspection, symbols, tolerances etc
Should have good understanding of Welding processes like MIG/MAG, TIG & Stud welding
Command over quality tools and CAPA [8D]
Knowledge/ certification in VT/PT will be added advantage
