Location : Jamnagar Gujrat Job Description: The job profile will focus on quality assurance and control of the project and process internally for all the business segments and products. Setting up the QA/QC policy for the BU It is the responsibility and ownership of the candidate to set up the Quality process and policy of the BU in concurrence with RIL standards and other relevant international standards. Audits and conformities The candidate will be playing a major role in achieving the ISO accreditation for the company. The candidate shall be capable of handling internal and external audits and processes. Quality Assurance i. The candidate is the major shareholder to achieve quality assurance in the products and the services of the BU. ii. The candidate will take care of the component quality, will be responsible for FATs at customer places. iii. The candidate also will be responsible for product certifications and registrations. iv. The candidate will hold the major responsibility of site quality to assure quality installations. v. The candidate will be taking audits of vendors and vendor manufacturing facility for pre qualifications. The role entails working very closely with the Product Development, Technology, and projects teams to ensure the right product-market fit with quality and timely delivery. Head of the quality is expected to steer a team under him/her and have good internal relationship for and team development skills. The candidate is expected to travel meet vendors, customers and manage internal and external customers on the quality aspects of business.
