Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities: 1. Establish, monitor and maintain Quality Assurance systems across raw material, in-process and finished product stages 2. Monitor and report key quality metrics and continuously improve QA processes. 3. Train and mentor QA/QC team members on quality standards and protocols. 4. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, GMP and other regulatory requirements. 5. Manage quality audits internal, external, vendor and customer. 6. Handle product complaints, conduct RCA and implement CAPA effectively. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, R&D, Procurement) to resolve quality issues. 8. Lead QA documentation, batch records, SOPs and ensure traceability across supply chain. 9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, training programs and quality culture across the plant. 10. Monitor hygiene and sanitation standards of plant, equipment and personnel. 11. Prepare MIS reports related to product quality, rejections and audit outcomes. 12. Interface with regulatory bodies during inspections and maintain all quality certifications. 13. Ensure hygiene, safety and sanitation across the manufacturing setup. Preferred candidate profile We are seeking a Manager Quality Assurance, who will be responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement across manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of food safety systems and experience in leading QA teams in an FMCG environment. 1. 12-18 years of QA experience in the FMCG/Food Processing/Honey Processor 2. Hands-on experience in implementing FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, RCA, FMEA, BRC. 3. Strong leadership and team management skills. 4. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 5. Should be well-versed with laboratory testing protocols and equipment. 6. Familiarity with ERP systems and quality documentation tools.
