Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)

Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Automation Tester proficient in Python or Java with hands-on expertise in Selenium . You will be responsible for designing and developing robust automated test scripts, maintaining test frameworks, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to deliver high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium with Python or Java . Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and API testing. Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionalities and requirements. Perform regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing. Log defects, track them to closure, and ensure quality metrics are met. Maintain test environments and ensure continuous integration with CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to test strategy, test plan, and documentation. Required Skills: 2 to 4 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium with Java or Python . Strong knowledge of core programming concepts in Java or Python. Experience in automation frameworks like TestNG , JUnit , Pytest , or Robot Framework . Proficient in REST API testing using Postman , RestAssured , or Python libraries like requests . Working experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA . Good to Have: Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave . Exposure to containerization tools like Docker . Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Experience in cross-browser testing and parallel execution. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
