Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

You will be joining as a QA & Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in manual testing, API testing, and automation. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive manual testing for web and mobile applications. You will design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts while ensuring the quality of the products. Additionally, you will be involved in API testing using tools like Postman to validate the functionality of APIs. Automation will be a key aspect of your role, where you will develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools. In case of any bugs or issues, you will identify, log, and track them through resolution while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Your role will also include participation in regression, smoke, and sanity testing cycles to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications. Furthermore, you will contribute to enhancing the testing processes continuously to improve the overall quality of the products. To excel in this position, you should possess 4+ years of QA experience in manual and automation testing. A solid background in functional, regression, integration, and system testing is required. Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman and hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium are essential. A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle, along with good analytical and troubleshooting skills, will be beneficial. Moreover, familiarity with test management or bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail is preferred. Your ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, will be crucial for success in this role. While not mandatory, experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git, basic knowledge of scripting/programming (preferably Java/Python), and exposure to performance or security testing will be considered advantageous for this position.,
