As a Technical expert, your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality technical design drawings and specifications in compliance with the required regulations. In terms of Project Leadership, you will be expected to act as a Project Manager for selected projects, overseeing the successful delivery of high-quality multi and single-disciplinary projects. Your responsibilities will include project management, team supervision, project planning, stakeholder management, and risk assessment and mitigation. Working closely with the Project Director, you will identify and manage major project risks, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide input into project budgets, forecasts, and working capital targets, ensuring proper utilization of resources and maintaining budget control. As a Business Leader, you will manage and support your team, emphasizing the importance of Health & Safety practices in all work activities. Planning resource needs, collaborating with line managers to enhance communication and design processes, and conducting inductions and performance reviews are integral parts of your role. Leading by example, you will ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and Project Lifecycle processes. Your input into succession planning, career development, BU strategy, and sustainability initiatives will be crucial for the overall success of the team and the business. Regular communication with your line manager, attendance at team meetings, and leading project team meetings are essential for effective coordination and feedback. Internal audit Planning and monitoring Audit as per the apex Procedures & QMS for the different departments of the organization Analyze and evaluate audit data. Prepare and present reports that reflect audit s results. Identify weak areas related to QMS Build robust systems based on best practices being followed in the industry to improve adherence. Improvement of weak areas and re-audit for confirmation Thorough understanding & grasp of basic Quality Management Tools like PFMEA, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, QFD, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA etc. Organize & Conduct training sessions on QMS Regularly compile best practices related to QMS being followed at various OEMs Technical/Functional: Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures and regulations Knowledge on automobile products/ processes Lead assessor course or Internal auditor course for ISO 9001 and IATF- 16949. Knowledge of Quality Management Tools & Statistical techniques like SPC/ MSA/ FMEA/ PPAP/ APQP. Awareness about the latest updates on best-in-class industry practicesskill.

Key Deliverables: Conduct incident investigations for Dry Bulk (Cat AC), recommend corrective actions, and manage PARIS records Engage with external stakeholders (e.g. BHP, Rio Tinto, RightShip) for inspections, adverse feedback, and closures Develop training materials, safety alerts, and circulars for global vetting and incident trends Support compliance with IMO, Flag State, and Port State regulations through documentation, audits, and inspection readiness Role Responsibilities: Liaise with technical teams and RightShip for inspection bookings and coordination Lead and deliver safety training onboard and shore-side; assist in HSEQ initiatives Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist in implementing efficiency measures Support financial tracking for vetting-related expenses and collaborate with internal teams for adherence to budget

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the Quality & Customer Satisfaction of Schneider Electric worldwide Single-phase Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) products. Mission: Project Quality Leader Experience in New Product development processes and hands-on knowledge on New product introduction (NPI) lifecycle. Ensuring that the Voice of the Customer is well collected, analyzed, ranked and taken into accountacross the project lifecycle. Set the Project Quality Goals, based on the project requirements. Translate the quality objectives listed in the requirements into quality commitments to be met in the project & validate consistency of project quality plans. Tracking and reporting of Project Quality goals & metrics, highlight the risks or gaps to the project to the stakeholders. Facilitate Project Quality reviews with support from Project manager. Co-pilot the project with Project Manager for project success, with right product quality and customer satisfaction. Follow the progress of Quality Plan with the respective functions. Challenge the functions on the Quality of their decision files. Ensure Quality checks are in place (in terms of documentation, Design and test Methodology) Ensure the Change Control Board is effectively managed and the outcome is effectively communicated to the Key stake holders Ensure that the DFMEA points identified during the early phase of the project are deployed in Product and in technical publication. Perform Project Requirements Management, Feasibility Study and Functional Testing. Formulate a GO / No-GO opinion based on the Quality risks at each Project step. Conduct Peer reviews on deliverables of each project stage gate. Ensures that the Offer quality is built-in to reach the satisfaction of the future customers. Review of the Verification & Validation test plan for projects. Drive Offer Safety requirements on projects & ensure compliance. Strong experience/skills in Design for Reliability, 8D Problem solving, APQP, Ishikawa, FMEA, FTA. Working knowledge in Six Sigma tools & methodology (DFSS / DMAIC). Perform QMS compliance audits & ISO 9001 internal audits on projects and report the findings to the leadership. Lead Continuous Quality improvement initiatives. Other requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, Team player & passion for Customers and Quality. Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment & withglobalcross-functional teams. Demonstrate good Analytical and problem-solving skills. Influencing & Convincing skills, across different levels of the organization Experience in Change management & implementation methodology. Excellent Communication skills (Written / Verbal). Self-driven candidate. This quality leader position will report to the Director CS&Q India T&E Line of Business. Qualifications B.E or B-Tech / M.E or M-Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Industrial Engineering) with Overall 12 to 15 years of relevant Quality experience in Electrical / Electronics industry. Work experience on Power Electronics / UPS products is preferable.
