QA/ Test Engineer (Automation+ Manual+ API Testing)

The ideal candidate for this position would have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing accurate test cases based on requirements, analyzing results, and raising issues within the specified schedule. It is important to ensure optimal test coverage, including positive, negative, and exception scenarios. You will be expected to log defects with the appropriate priority, track them to closure, and understand the root cause of any issues. Additionally, you will need to test and verify that the software meets major architectural requirements and provide feedback on usability and serviceability. Developing and configuring test automation, as well as executing stability and performance tests, will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with product management, developers, and system engineers to deliver stable enterprise software products is crucial. You will be responsible for developing and executing test automation through test tools, applying automated testing strategies, and assisting in building automated testing frameworks. Analyzing and verifying the best automated and manual test approaches, as well as executing acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing, are also key components of this role. Furthermore, you will need to record test results and reports, verify software bug fixes, and engage in both functional and non-functional testing. Participation in requirement understanding, Scrum meetings, reviews, and test strategy sessions is expected. Maintenance of QA and project documentation, as well as analysis of problems reported in production applications and communication of results with appropriate stakeholders for resolution, are part of the responsibilities. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ability to implement test plans, follow test processes, and record results is essential. Familiarity with software testing best practices, test automation skills, and experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is required. Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python, as well as experience with automation frameworks like Codecept.js, Serenity BDD, or Cucumber, are also necessary. Proficiency in performance tools like JMeter and experience or knowledge of performance/load/volume testing are advantageous. Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and the pyramid test model, as well as tools like JIRA and Git, would be beneficial. Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure, is considered a plus. The ability to provide reports to senior stakeholders is also expected in this role.,
