QA Test Engineer

As a QA Tester in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with 3 - 5 years of experience, your primary responsibility will involve assisting in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. You will conduct both manual and automated testing to identify bugs and issues effectively. It will be essential for you to document and report defects clearly, providing detailed steps to reproduce them. Collaboration with development teams will be a key aspect of your role to understand requirements thoroughly and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your participation in daily stand-ups and team meetings will help in discussing testing progress and overcoming challenges as a team. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, knowledge of Agile development methodologies, familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA and TestRail, basic understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with SQL for database testing. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and prior experience of 1 year in QA is preferred. The work location is in person.
