Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan.
Review drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance.
Conduct inspection and testing of materials, workmanship, and processes.
Maintain records of quality inspections, test results, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and clients for quality-related matters.
Supervise and monitor QA/QC inspectors and lab technicians (if applicable).
Ensure calibration of instruments and testing equipment.
Review and approve material submittals and test reports.
Issue and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct internal audits and participate in third-party or client audits.
Prepare final QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports and quality dossiers.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of QA/QC Procedures and ISO Standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
Proficiency in preparing ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
Familiarity with IS/ASTM/BS/ACI standards
Experience with concrete, steel, welding, or MEP quality (depending on field)
NCR and CAR Management
Material Testing and Laboratory Supervision
MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA software tools
Internal auditing
