QA Manual Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities: -Proficiency in testing front-end applications. -Experience in System Integration. -Creating, planning, and writing test cases. -Demonstrating a strong understanding of the Testing Life Cycle. -Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. -Identifying, documenting, and overseeing the resolution of bugs. -Monitoring feature progress on JIRA and effectively collaborating with developers for issue resolution. -Supporting various QA activities, including the development of test approaches, test cases, and test execution as required. -Collaborating with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues. -Working independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge and Technical Skills -Possessing 3-5 years of manual testing experience. -Having a solid grasp of QA concepts. -Proficiency in identifying test scenarios, designing test cases, executing tests, and managing defects. -Competence in conducting Functional, Regression, and Integration testing. -Familiarity with Agile Methodology. -Adept at manual testing and open to learning new technologies. -Experience with test management tools such as JIRA. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Demonstrating enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. -Willingness to learn automation and work in both manual and automated testing. -Knowledge of test automation is an added advantage. -Experience in customer interactions and the ability to work self-managed, independently, or with minimal supervision.
