QA Engineer

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications, focusing on functional, API, and database testing.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software products across different platforms and environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure testing activities align with business objectives.
• Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates, ensuring no adverse impacts on existing functionality.
• Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience in manual testing, with a focus on functional, API, and database testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test documentation.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, and SQL.
• Good to have understanding of the payment domain, including knowledge of payment processing systems and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
