QA Engineer

As a key member of the software quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile apps and SaaS platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the work produced by you and your team members meets the standards expected by our customers. Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that values continuous improvement and modern software development techniques. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date knowledge and documentation of tests, collaborating with colleagues to test and maintain the platform and data continuously, and learning new skills to conduct automation tests. You will have the opportunity to work independently, exploring the application to identify possible coverage gaps without predefined acceptance criteria or test cases. Additionally, you will gain in-depth knowledge of product functionality and be encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, and communicate effectively with your team members and the community. To excel in this role, you should have a BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience. The position is suitable for experienced candidates with a minimum of 5 years in Test Automation and 3+ years in Manual testing, ideally in a Senior QA Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in using Android and IOS devices, as well as a solid understanding of manual and automation testing, are essential. You should be results-oriented, innovative, and capable of proactively identifying and resolving issues. Moreover, you should possess hands-on experience with tools such as Appium, Dart programming, Google Firebase, TestFlight, Android Studio, Jenkins, GitHub, and SQL. Familiarity with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and code repositories is highly beneficial. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key attributes we are looking for in a candidate. While not mandatory, experience with Flutter, Native, and SDK applications, Ubuntu, security testing, contract testing, and tools like Confluence JIRA and X-Ray Test Management Tool would be advantageous. The position is full-time and permanent, offering benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, and a provident fund. The work schedule is day shift, Monday to Friday, with a morning shift. A joining bonus is provided, and the work location is in-person in Ernakulam, Kerala.
