QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer focused on manual and functional testing for a real-time Manufacturing Execution System (MES), your role will involve ensuring product quality by validating system workflows, user interactions, and real-time data behavior. This is a full-time onsite position based in Mohali, where you will work closely with a cross-functional global engineering team. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test data for manual validation, conducting functional, integration, regression, and UI testing, validating real-time behavior and user flows across the MES platform, identifying, logging, and tracking defects through resolution using test management tools, ensuring alignment with secure SDLC and compliance requirements, and collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and product teams. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in manual functional testing for web-based applications, hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar, basic understanding of API and SQL-based database testing, and familiarity with secure testing practices and risk-based testing. Domain experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Real-Time Systems, and Security & Compliance testing would be desirable. While exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Cypress is a plus, it is not required. You should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field to be considered for this position.
